Job Description:
A prominent independent preparatory school from nursery to 13 years old is currently looking for a Nursery Nurse to join their staff. The post is looking to start in January of 2019 and is listed to last until at least the end of March. This role is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking to get their foot in the door of a prestigious school as it is more than likely this will turn into a full-time role following the end of March.
The successful candidate will act as a Keyworker for at least 4 children aged 2 and half years, to effectively deliver the EYFS and ensure the individual needs and interests of the children are met. As well as keeping records of children’s development and learning journeys whilst supporting other members of staff to work as an effective team.
Qualifications required:
Level 2 NVQ/CACHE or above.
Paediatric First Aid (desirable but can train).
Experience in a similar role/setting.
Hours of Work:
Tuesday – Friday 08:00 – 13:00 (20 hours per week)
Responsible to:
Nursery Manager, Head of school

Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
