Job Title:  Nursery Officer (Maternity Cover) – Two roles 

Grade and Salary:  Grade 1 £17,842 - £18,933 per annum 

Actual salary for term time role: £15,279 per annum

Working pattern:  37 hours per week. One role is for 52 weeks per year, the other is for 39 weeks per year (term time)

Location:  Ashfield Plaza Day Nursery, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham

The role:

Ashfield Plaza Day Nursery are looking to appoint two Nursery Officers to join our existing team to cover periods of maternity leave. The Nursery Officers will contribute to a high-quality caring environment for children. This includes creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities. There are two roles available, one working term time only and the other will work year-round. 

The person:

The successful candidates will be patient, empathetic and approachable people, who work well within a team. The successful candidates will need to be able to communicate well with both adults and children, be well organised and have a good understanding of child development. The successful candidates must be qualified to level 3 in Childcare as a minimum.
