Westfield School Nursery
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and friendly nursery practitioner to join our nursery team at Westfield Primary School. The nursery is part of the school and takes children from the age of two years old. It is a term time only nursery and follows school hours.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the learning and development of the children at the nursery including all aspects of a key worker role.
Our children would like the successful candidate to:
• Use gentle hands, gentle feet and gentle voices
• Sing silly songs and tell funny stories
• Help me put on my shoes
• Come and play
Our EYFS team would like the successful candidate to:
• Hold a level 3 qualification and have experience of working in a nursery setting.
• Work as part of a team.
• Have experience of working with two year olds and upwards and be able to lead fun and
child-centred learning for this age group.
• Join in with child-initiated play and plan activities and experiences to help the children
develop.
• Follow school policies.
• Form positive relationships and communicate effectively with children, staff and parents.
• Enjoy the unpredictable nature of working with early years children.
