This is an exciting opportunity to join Westcountry Schools Trust, currently employing approximately 2000 staff and growing. We are a dynamic organisation with our students and staff at our heart. Built on an extensive track record of excellence, the Trust combines a range of secondary colleges, primary schools and business units based in a variety of sites across Devon and Cornwall. We are also a stone’s throw from some of the best beaches and countryside in the country.

Sherford Vale School & Nursery currently has a vacancy for a qualified, permanent, experienced Nursery practitioner. We are looking for an excellent Nursery practitioner who puts learning at the heart of their practice, has a hunger to improve, a strong teamwork ethic and who is flexible. The person appointed would need the skills and qualities necessary to demonstrate - a secure level of understanding of the Early Years, and Safeguarding policies/procedures, consistently high levels of behaviour and learning, to join our team as soon as practicably possible. The successful candidate would also require a knowledge of SEND practice and processes and be IT competent. The ability to build good relationships with children, the Nursery and EYFS team, staff and parents is vital.

Practitioners with a minimum level 3 requirement or above, and/or an excellent, proven track record of experience in Nursery are welcome to apply.
