Our Nursery

The Nursery is a bright, open-plan space with access to its own little adventure playground, mud kitchen and sandpit, as well as the little forest in the park. 

Thanks to a varied curriculum and specialist teaching in Performing Arts, Music and Language, your child will have the chance to develop their own unique talents in a nurturing and inspiring environment.

Overview

We are looking for a creative, caring and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. You will have a robust knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, coupled with good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children.

You will be someone who is not afraid to share a comforting hug when it’s needed, confidently sing (whether perfectly on pitch or not) in front of others, and happily get involved in messy outdoor play - mud pies included! You’ll join in with imaginative games, enjoy pretend tea parties, bringing joy and enthusiasm to every interaction. Most importantly, you’ll help create a welcoming and inspiring environment where every child can flourish. In return, you’ll become a cherished part of many children’s lives and their families, experiencing the special bond that makes this role so rewarding.

Hours of work: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, year-round.

The school prides itself on adding value both to the academic results and the character of its pupils. Lessons start and end with The Pause – a moment of stillness that supports focus and wellbeing. Love of learning is the preferred route to success so that pupils get great results for the right reasons, and without the stress of a hothouse atmosphere. Pupils can progress on to senior girls’ or boys’ schools – the entry is automatic. But the emphasis is on choice with a robust 11+ programme.
