We are seeking a team member to provide high quality care and education and develop an outstanding provision at the Huish Nursery, based at Nerrols Primary School. This post presents an exciting and unique opportunity for the successful candidate(s) to play a vital role in contributing to successful and inspiring Nursery provisions at Nerrols, which provides excellent opportunities for children aged 2-4. You will need to be passionate about early years, can work as part of a team, be able to use your initiative, self-driven and effectively use your time in the setting to promote outcomes for all children.

  • Closing date: Sunday 23rd  2025 at 5:00pm
  • Interviews: TBC
  • Hours: 37 hours per week (or part-time 20 hours per week) - to cover shifts across the week (shift are either 08:00 - 18:00,  08:00-13:00 or 13:00-18:00).
  • Location: Nerrols Primary School
  • Contract term: Fixed term maternity cover

  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress to ensure they are reaching their full potential.
  • Promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating setting, adhering to health and safety policies.
  • Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures of the nursery
  • Work collaboratively and enthusiastically with a team to ensure high standards of care and education.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
