King’s St Alban’s Nursery offers a warm and nurturing environment. The Role
Duties will include:
Providing a caring and stimulating environment for the children, in line with EYFS guidelines
Fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Maintaining a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
Observing and assessing children’s progress, contributing to their learning journeys
Being proactive in matters relating to safeguarding and child protection, and health and safety.
What We’re Looking For
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting and as part of a team
An approachable, friendly and caring nature
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Working pattern
Two positions are available, both offered on a permanent, year-round basis:
• One full-time, 37.5 hours per week role
• One part-time, 30 hour per week role.
Start date: As soon as possible following the successful completion of pre-employment checks.
Salary: Up to £14.78 per hour depending on skills and experience

The annual Carol Service is staged in the Cathedral and concerts and musical evenings are held in the John Moore Theatre, College Hall and St Alban’s Chapel. A major Art, Dance and Music production is staged annually in the John Moore Theatre with several smaller workshop productions taking place throughout the year. The sporting life of the school thrives with provision for competitive team games at both interschool and inter-house levels. The main sports are Cricket, Football, Hockey, Netball, Rounders, Rugby and Swimming. There are also opportunities for Athletics, Cross-Country, Judo and Fencing.
