Nursery Practitioners

Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking to join a nurturing, award-winning Nursery? We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join the friendly and supportive nursery team at King’s St Alban’s Prep School Nursery.

King’s St Alban’s Nursery offers a warm and nurturing environment. Our team of hugely committed practitioners love making sure that our children are greeted warmly on arrival and encouraged to participate in a variety of activities.

The Role
Duties will include:

• Providing a caring and stimulating environment for the children, in line with EYFS guidelines
  

• Fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
  

• Observing and assessing children’s progress, contributing to their learning journeys
  

• Being proactive in matters relating to safeguarding and child protection, and health and safety.
  

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  

• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting and as part of a team
  

• An approachable, friendly and caring nature
  

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Working pattern

Two positions are available, both offered on a permanent, year-round basis:

• One full-time, 37.5 hours per week role

• One part-time, 30 hour per week role.

Start date: As soon as possible following the successful completion of pre-employment checks.

Salary: Up to £14.78 per hour depending on skills and experience
