We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to join our experienced and skilled nursery team. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of Early Years pedagogy and curriculum. As a school on a rapid journey to improvement the candidate will understand and rise to the challenge of ensuring that the highest possible standards are achieved by all children regardless of their starting points.The teacher will work collaboratively with our team of early years experts to provide a creative and high quality environment with inclusion at the heart of all learning. Common Road is an Infant School with a 52 Place Nursery. Our current NOR is 150 full time children plus 47 children in nursery.
General Information
Common Road Infant and Nursery School serves the community of South Kirkby, an area of mainly social housing, ex mining history, situated in the semi- rural South East of the Wakefield area. South Kirkby Academy and Minsthorpe Secondary schools are close by.
