The Post

Little Wetherby, the nursery department of Wetherby School, are looking for a career minded and enthusiastic nursery teacher to join our team from September 2022. In the first instance this is a fixed term contract for a year.  

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, imaginative and driven teacher who wants to join an innovative, forward-thinking and committed team. The position would suit dynamic teachers who are able to inspire pupils of all abilities to develop their full potential.

The successful candidate will have outstanding Early Years experience and be a dynamic and engaging professional. Those wishing to apply should have a relevant Early Years qualification or degree.

The School

Wetherby School is a thriving and highly successful non-selective, independent school in Notting Hill with 360 boys, aged 2 ½ to 8. The school is heavily oversubscribed and extremely successful in securing pupils’ entry into the preparatory school of their choice. It is part of the Alpha Plus Group of schools, which is one of the country's leading educational groups.

Remuneration

The Alpha Plus Group has its own salary scale, which is above the Central London Maintained Scale. A salary at the appropriate point on the Teachers’ scale will be offered to the successful candidate and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

About Wetherby Pembridge Minors, Holland Park

Wetherby Pembridge Minors is a happy and welcoming Nursery School in West London, situated between Notting Hill and High Street Kensington.

We are seeking dynamic and team-oriented Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly and committed teaching team on a term-time-only basis, taking all school holidays as leave.

The nursery is divided into two year groups, Cubs (2-3 year olds) and Bears (3-4 year olds) both of which have very favourable staff-to-child ratios. The school benefits from a beautiful, newly refurbished building with state-of-the-art, purpose-designed and generously resourced learning environments, enabling our teaching staff to provide a truly exceptional learning experience for their pupils.
