Job overview

Set in beautiful woodlands in the village of Sunninghill, near Ascot, The Marist School is a leading independent Catholic day school for girls aged 2 to 18. The Marist School employs over 130 members of staff and we are proud to be a diverse community that fosters a family spirit across the school.

The school enjoyed a hugely successful ISI inspection in December 2021 and was graded ‘Excellent’ in all areas.

We believe that education is much more than the acquisition of knowledge; it is about the development of character and curiosity in a vibrant learning environment and we are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher, who can join us in delivering our vision of excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Nursery provision of our school. Our wonderful Nursery is open to boys and girls, and we offer a year-round provision. The successful candidate will have strong understanding and experience of the EYFS curriculum and demonstrable knowledge of how young children learn. You will have a genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young children and be committed to honouring the Catholic ethos and culture of the school.

Staff at The Marist School are part of a warm and welcoming community that are at the heart of the school and enjoy a defined benefit pension scheme, allocated on-site parking, free meals, access to fitness facilities and fee remission. The Marist has a strong culture of professional development and opportunities for progression are available.
