We are looking for experienced Nursery Teaching and Learning Assistants to join our outstanding team. You will have experience working with children and as part of a team, and be confident in communicating with parents, including discussing their child's day to their child’s ongoing development and learning.    You will be a key person and therefore must have a good understanding of how to plan for the individual needs of the children in your care, using the curriculum.   

Your responsibilities will be:  

· to ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment 

· to have high expectations for all children and plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the EYFS 

· to work in partnership with the parents 

· to follow all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
 

Our ideal candidate will: 

· be qualified to level 3 or above in child care 

· a sense of responsibility with a consistent and fair approach 

· an awareness of safety and hygiene 

· the ability to use own initiative and to work as part of a team 

· have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every child

Hours: 35 hours per week, 8:30am to 4pm, term time only (39 weeks a year) 

Contract: Permanent

About Ark Paddington Green Academy

Ark Paddington Green Primary Academy is a primary school located in West London. The school reopened in September 2016, having previously been known as Paddington Green Primary School, and is part of Ark, an international charity that has 38 schools in Birmingham, Hastings, London and Portsmouth. 

Ark Paddington Green Primary Academy has close links with King Solomon Academy, a local secondary, and is intended to act as a “feeder” school.
