Rokesly Junior School is a fun, friendly and exciting place to learn and grow. The School has been encouraging children from the local community to make the most of their potential for over 50 years. We help every child develop academically and socially, build self-confidence and enjoy a positive attitude to learning. Staff, parents and pupils work together to make our school a stimulating and safe environment where every child feels welcome. The School is a community of over 340 pupils and 36 staff close to the centre of Crouch End in the London Borough of Haringey.   

Due to the retirement of our long serving Office Manager, we are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our busy school office.  Your role will involve welcoming all visitors to the school, managing our pupil database and website, sending out communications to our school community, administrating the finances for our trips and after school clubs and other general admin tasks, for example, ordering and managing resources.  

The successful candidate will:  

• Be a cheerful friendly front-of-house face 

• love working in a child-focused environment 

• be excellent at communicating with a range of people who visit our school 

• be self-motivated and able to prioritise tasks under pressure 

• have good ICT skills and be numerate and literate to at least Grade C GCSE   

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference and improve our school site, as a valued member of the school community.

Rokesly Junior School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational junior school in Haringey, North London. There are approximately 360 pupils attending the school, between the ages of 7-11.    

Rokesly Junior School has been open for over 50 years, and 37 languages are represented in the school.

“Pupils attain well in a range of subjects. In particular, pupils produce high-quality art work using a range of skills such as knitting, weaving, collage, painting and modelling. In computing, Year 6 pupils are especially skilled at creating their own programs, for example to run animations. The school ensures that all groups achieve equally well over time. Provision for disabled pupils and those who have special educational is good and helps them to acquire new skills quickly and achieve well”.
