We are looking to appoint a Receptionist with excellent office skills to join our friendly and supportive team.  This is a permanent role for 35 hours per week (8.30am – 4.00pm, 30 minute lunch break), term time only (in cluding INSET days).  Visits to the school are welcomed and strongly encouraged; please contact Mrs Jackie Caetano, School Business Manager, to arrange a suitable time.  The successful candidate will work with the School Business Manager and the Head Teacher to carry out a variety of office functions and act as the first point of contact for all visitors arriving at Reception and ensure that we provide a courteous, professional and friendly service to users.   Our ideal candidate: •Is articulate and friendly, with strong interpersonal and communication skills including an excellent telephone manner. •Has experience of and is confidant with ICT systems, including Word, Excel, SIMS, RM, ParentPay. •Has a variety of administrative experiences, is self-motivated and can work independently and as part of a team.  •Has excellent numeracy and literacy skills.   The school is committed to safeguarding children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service.  Candidates will be asked about the boundaries between adults and children, at interview.   About the role  We are looking to appoint an experienced administrator to join our friendly and dedicated team.
