Job overview
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Office Manager who would like to work at our busy inclusive school. You will understand the importance of customer service in this key role and ensure a high quality of service provision to staff, students, families and the wider community. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as being well organised, flexible, self-motivated and able to work calmly under pressure.
A key part of the role is to organise and supervise administrative systems within the school, and to contribute to the planning, development and monitoring of support services and staff. You will support the Director of Finance and Administration in providing an efficient and effective human resources function by undertaking the day to day aspects of this area. You will have oversight of the school diary and run the cover system for absent staff and maintain and report on absence records.

About The Elmgreen School
The Elmgreen School is a unique 11-18 secondary school. It is a non denominational mixed school which opened to its first cohort of year 7 students in September 2007. The secondary Hearing Impaired Unit is co-located within the school. We will reach our full complement of 1100 students in 2014 which will include a 200 place sixth form. The school moved to its inspirational new building in September 2009.
