Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Term time plus 1 week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Office Manager to join our successful team across our Meon Way Federation Schools from September 2024.

The Office Manager is responsible for the organisation and efficient running of the school offices across the Federation, the efficient execution of all office activities encompassing the line management of office and administration staff. You will manage the day-to-day operations, including correspondence, record-keeping and communication with staff, parents and stakeholders. You will also coordinate recruitment processes, assist with HR related tasks and maintain an accurate Single Central Register.

  • Ability to manage conflicting demands, deadlines and interruptions
  • Systematic approach to a varied administrative task load whilst working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent administration skills, with a high level of efficiency, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Experience of leading, coaching and motivating staff
  • An ability to work with minimal supervision and direction as well as multi task and use initiative


Essential:

  • IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Management experience
  • SIMs knowledge

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of working in a school or other education environment
  • First Aid Qualification
  • Knowledge of the following systems: SCR, Every, Edenred, Applicaa, iHasco, Iris Reach, Eploy, PSP HR system
