Grove Academy is a new free school which opened in September 2017. We are currently on a temporary site in the centre of Slough until we move onto our new site in 2020. 

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to to lead and manage our growing administrative team. The successful candidate will line manage administrative and lunchtime support staff.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has recent relevant experience of working in a school office
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office and MIS systems
  • Is a proactive and flexible team player

Grove Academy is the first all-through school to open in Slough and provides opportunity and education for 4 to 16 year olds, underpinned by high-quality teaching and learning and a common assessment framework. This continuity ensures that we can avoid the dips in performance associated with transition from one phase or school to another.

As one school we are able to teach subjects to our younger children via specialist subject teachers, such as modern foreign languages and PE. We can provide pastoral care for children in challenging circumstances by offering a ‘joined-up’ strategy and support families more consistently over a longer time.
