About the Role
As Office Manager, you will lead and develop a high-quality office, reception and student services function, ensuring a professional, efficient and safeguarding-aware service at all times.
You will also oversee marketing and communications, helping to enhance the Academy’s visibility, reputation and engagement with families and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Office Leadership & Service Excellence
Lead day-to-day operations across reception, student services, reprographics and communications
Maintain robust office systems, workflows and service standards
Ensure a warm, professional and safeguarding-aware front-of-house experience
Manage rotas, calendars, cover arrangements and key events
Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement
Line manage, develop and support the office team
Student Services & Data Compliance
Oversee accurate student records and data management (Arbor)
Ensure GDPR-compliant processes and secure document handling
Coordinate first aid provision, medical needs and incident reporting
Marketing, Communications & Events
Lead the school’s marketing activity, including website, social media and newsletters
Produce high-quality, brand-consistent content
Plan and deliver open evenings, parents’ evenings and whole-school events
Strengthen community engagement and partnerships with local primary schools
Facilities & Operational Support
Coordinate PFI helpdesk requests and track resolution
Support health and safety processes and visitor management
Oversee reprographics to ensure cost-effective service

A confident leader with experience managing people and processes
Highly organised, solutions-focused and calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service
Strong IT skills and experience with MIS systems (Arbor desirable)
