About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an OHS Compliance Officer to join the Penola family for 12 months. This is a new position and is part time (0.8FTE).

As the OHS Compliance Officer you will be responsible for ensuring the College’s risk and compliance framework and mechanisms comply with current legal and regulatory obligations. Your work will also include administration, risk and compliance documentation and reporting across a range of key business areas. A key component of this role will be the administration of Complispace (compliance management system). You will also manage the College’s workcover claims and return to work coordination.

The OHS Compliance Officer is only required to work during school terms and will receive paid school holidays. The salary range (pro rata) is $53,150 to $60,224 (excluding superannuation) depending on experience.

About You

To be successful you will possess specialist knowledge / qualifications / experience in compliance, OHS and workcover administration. The ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders is also paramount. A passion for OHS is a must. Previous experience in education is desirable but not essential.

You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
