One to One Assistant (SEN)

Contract term: Temporary placement with the potential of becoming permanent for the right candidate (From September 2016)

Sinclair House School opened in Fulham in 1989 as a small coeducational Montessori Day School. In the Autumn of 2013, we relocated the Preparatory School to new premises on Fulham High Street. This enabled us to increase the intake of pupils and prepare children for the 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations. Although we take pride in our pupils’ academic achievements, our fundamental emphasis is on an individual’s growth and overall wellbeing. Sinclair House School is recruiting for a special needs teaching assistant to join a wonderful Independent Preparatory School in Fulham. This full-time SEN teaching assistant role is required for September 2016. The successful SEN TA will be supporting a child in Year 4 with Global Developmental delay (GDD) with a severe Speech and Language difficulty.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria;

• Experience of working with children with SEN in a classroom setting;
• Eligible to work in the UK (Must have a valid visa);
• Recent classroom-based references and a valid DBS check.
