One to One English Tutor

The Blyth Academy is a Northern Education Trust Academy and is seeking to appoint a One to One tutor in English.

The successful candidate will work as part of the English department carrying out the professional duties of a tutor  in accordance with Academy policies under the direction of the Principal. .

We welcome applications from people who:  

  • hold qualified teacher status, or are a qualified HE or FE teacher; or  
  • are able to demonstrate a track record of effective teaching; or  
  • are able to demonstrate that you can work with individual pupils to progress their learning in  English; or have subject specific knowledge of  English at key stage 4

This is a part time role working around 15 hours per week
