Days Lane Primary School is a popular over-subscribed community school with an inclusive, caring and stimulating learning environment. We are looking to appoint a one to one teaching assistant for 20 hours a week to support a boy in Year 6 with special educational needs (broad academic difficulties). The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional attitude, a real desire to put children’s needs first and the ability to work well in a team. The hours of work will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all day (9.00am – 3.00pm). Thursday afternoon (1.00 – 3.00pm) and Friday morning (9.00 – 12.00pm). The post is linked to the needs of the child and will cease if the child moves from the school or the child’s needs change.
