Job overview

CEG Digital wishes to engage the services of an Online Tutor for their MA Education programme run in partnership with the University of Hull. This is a post for a self-employed contractor.

Remote

Who are we looking for?

CEG Digital has partnered with the University of Hull to deliver Hull Online, a programme of blended courses taught online within a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), Canvas. The University of Hull's flexible learning courses equip students with valuable skills and knowledge, without interrupting income and career progression. We are looking to add to our roster of talented, self-employed tutors with the appointment of a tutor for university of Hull Online’s MA Education.

The Course

Our MA Education is designed to inspire, empower and delight educators as they develop their knowledge and understanding to meet the challenges of our time. Inquiry based and practice focused, the programme is highly individualised and underpinned with robust theoretical perspectives, evidence of best practice and applications of the latest innovations in education.  The programme is aimed at supporting a wide range of educators as they develop a disposition of inquiry and learn to become responsive to current societal demands, yet with their eyes on the horizon. Specifically, the programme is built around students’ work so that learning is directly informed by and impacts upon their occupation.

The Module:

This module is the first one that all students will do at the start of their programme and provides a highly-personalised exploration into the topic of education, enabling students to learn to question their underlying assumptions on why and how we educate, and enabling them to understand how curiosity leading to inquiry is a vital lifelong skill in such a landscape.

What does CEG Digital do?

Working closely with our partner universities, CEG Digital helps create, market and deliver part-time online and blended University programmes to students around the world. We use cutting-edge technology, sector-leading pedagogy, and first-class student support to provide an outstanding educational experience. CEG Digital is part of Cambridge Education Group a global company with its headquarters in Cambridge, UK.
