The Role
We are seeking to appoint a highly efficient, proactive and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to join our dedicated support staff team. This is a vital role that will work closely with the Director of Operations, Academy Facilities Teams and the Health and Safety Lead to ensure the effective management of maintenance activities, contractor coordination, and compliance documentation across the trust.
The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, compliant, and well-functioning learning environment for students and staff by providing outstanding administrative support for facilities and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance visits, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely completion of works.
• Arrange bookings and site access for external contractors, verifying compliance with safeguarding and H&S requirements.
• Support the management of statutory compliance, including fire safety checks, water hygiene, and PAT testing.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and assist in preparing for audits and inspections.
• Assist the Director of Operations with procurement processes, contractor liaison, and administrative tasks.
• Monitor and update logs and systems for health and safety compliance and facilities management.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
• Strong administrative experience, ideally in a facilities, operations or compliance-related role.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Desirable:
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
• Familiarity with school compliance systems (e.g. Every, Parago, SmartLog).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety requirements in schools.
