You will supervise the management team, to motivate and develop all our early years staff to provide a consistently high standard of care and education. Our nurseries work with many children and families from our local community, and many with additional educational and support needs. In our creative and robust assessment and planning, we effectively respond to the presenting needs of all the children and families, working in partnership for the best outcomes. You will need an excellent understanding and approach to early help and safeguarding, and a commitment to partnership working.
Your excellent knowledge and understanding of the educational, developmental health and social needs of children under five and of the requirements and guidance relating to the EYFS statutory framework, will demonstrate your comprehensive understanding of child development, child protection and Special Educational Needs. You will need an appropriate qualification in Childcare and Education, demonstrable experience in managing and leading a team, and a strong level of communication and IT skills, confidence and capability to meet the requirements of the role.
