Location: Based within centre (of your choice) at least two days per week, however the post holder will need to work flexibly across all sites (home working also available)

Working Pattern: 36 hours per week, Term Time plus 3 weeks (39 weeks)

Orchard Hill College is an Outstanding Specialist College (Ofsted, November 2019) offering life-changing learning opportunities to young people and adults with a range of special education needs and/or disabilities. We have eight vibrant community based College Centres across London and Surrey where committed, specialist teams deliver a range of programmes to meet the needs of over 400 students.

Students who study with us have a wide range of needs including profound and multiple learning disabilities, communication and behavioural difficulties and specific medical needs. All students are individual and their learning programme is designed to support and empower them to achieve their aspirations and goals, whilst developing skills to become more independent members of their community.

This is an exciting opportunity, which will require the successful candidate to manage a small administration team based at several locations providing high quality support to our curriculum staff. You will lead on various projects and initiatives, delivering exceptional levels of customer service across the College. You must have a forward thinking style with a positive personality that would be able engage a large number of colleagues across the College.

This is a hands-on role, with the ability to turn your hand to any task, with the minimum of supervision. You must have excellent communication skills to be able to seek solutions to college-wide operational issues and remove barriers, as well as identifying new ways of working and continuous improvement involving key stakeholders.
