Operations Supervisor

Position: Operations Supervisor cum Health & Safety Officer

Beaconhouse is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor cum Health & Safety Officer to join our team for our school based in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily operations across the campus while upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations

• Oversee day-to-day campus operations, facilities management, and maintenance activities.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers.

• Monitor housekeeping, security, transportation, and general support services.

• Ensure timely completion of operational tasks and school-wide logistics.

Health & Safety

• Develop, implement, and monitor school health and safety policies and procedures.

• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and emergency preparedness drills.

• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and standards.

• Provide training to staff on safety practices and protocols.

• Respond to safety incidents and maintain accurate reports.

Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering

Certifications: Professional health and safety certification is mandatory, with the NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)

Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in an H&S or operational role, preferably within a school or similar institution

Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital. The role demands attention to detail, leadership qualities, the ability to work in a multicultural environment, and a strong knowledge of safety management systems and local UAE regulations.
