We are looking for someone with a passion for outdoor learning to lead and take it forward, the options are endless!

No two days are the same so we want a team who can work at pace, to turn ‘can’t do’ into ‘want to’.

You will need to enjoy working with pupils in a calm and engaging demeanour, whilst being resilient and using innovative styles of teaching.

The Place Independent School is for pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). The school opened a few years ago and we run from Year 2 to Year 13. Over the next year, due to pupil numbers, we will be expanding and growing the team to those who would like to join this journey with us.

This role is ideal for those that want a new opportunity. Whether you are experienced or not, we will provide an extensive CPD package that we can cater to your experience. If you are new but have that passion and fire in your belly, we CPD includes working towards Forest School accreditation if you haven't already got it as well as personal tutors who are experienced in Outdoor learning visiting site to coach and support you further. 

We believe that all our pupils are entitled to high quality learning experiences, where we support their needs holistically. The purpose of the role is to prepare and teach lessons that engage and enthuse learners through a personalised approach which is consistently reviewed to ensure successful outcomes, including consideration of stretch and challenge.
