Woodbridge Park is on a journey to outstanding and we need outstanding people to join us. We are a multi-site Alternative Provision for children and young people with complex needs and we provide a vital service to the families and schools of Hounslow. We are proud of our service and we need inspirational, patient trailblazers who believe that every child matters and who will never give up on our amazing pupils.

As our service provision continues to expand to meet emerging needs, we are now looking to appoint an Outreach and Intervention Support Tutor, based at our CATE Centre in Brentford TW8. We need a gentle, compassionate professional to support our amazing children and young people in the home and other locations to facilitate inclusion into education and Woodbridge Park. The role will also include some weekly site based one to one sessions and small group intervention work.

You will need to have use of your own vehicle during the working day, be organised, and have the patience and resilience to remain focused with some extremely anxious, vulnerable children. Your interpersonal and relationship building skills will be exemplary.

We can offer a varied professional experience, thanks to our many diverse sites – no two days are the same. We can also offer outstanding professional development with a dedicated training programme and planned investment in staff development. We place a high regard and focus on staff wellbeing having recently been awarded the NEU Workload Charter Status and we offer all staff six early finish days per school year to support their wellbeing.

Candidates will be able to inspire and motivate our students to get the very best meaningful outcomes and show a commitment to raising the achievement levels and self-esteem of disaffected young people

OFSTED May 2019 judged WPES as a GOOD school.
