  • The Autism Outreach for Schools secondary team are based at Limpsfield Grange School, Oxted, Surrey.


Due to the expansion of the Autism Outreach for Schools service, we are looking to recruit a team of Outreach Assistants to provide outreach across all secondary schools in Surrey.

Successful candidates will:

  • Work in a wide range of secondary schools across the west, east or central Surrey.
  • Work with secondary schools to provide advice, guidance and support for autistic students.
  • Provide guidance and support for a range of education professionals within secondary school settings relating to autism best practice.
  • Provide training sessions for education professionals working with autistic secondary age students or parents of secondary age autistic children.

It is essential that candidates can drive, have their own car and hold a clean driving license.

The successful candidates could be a qualified teacher or a teaching assistant with experience of working with autistic children and young people. If you are unsure if this role would be for you, please do contact the school to discuss.

About Limpsfield Grange School

Limpsfield Grange School is a residential special school for girls aged 11-16 with communication and interaction difficulties who benefit from the breadth of the full mainstream curriculum, but due to the anxiety arising from their sensory, social and communication difficulties are unable to manage the mainstream school environment.  We offer both day and residential places.

At Limpsfield Grange we work alongside our students to develop their confidence, their communication, independence and self-management skills and their knowledge.
