Outside School Hours Care Coordinator

Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School Gladstone operates as a two-stream school. About the role - Coordinator
This position is full time (38 HPW) but could be negotiated for part time.  This role comprises of before and after school care as well as vacation care and will commence 11 January 2021.

The Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator will apply a depth of knowledge and a broad range of skills which facilitate the management, administration and programming within the OSHC service.  This position reports directly to the Principal of the school and liaises with the Early Learning & Care Coordinator and Early Learning & Care Officer.  Other key relationships include children, families & OSHC staff, clergy, parish and personnel from the associated school.

Mandatory Requirements

• Completed a minimum of an AQF Diploma of Children’s Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) or; an approved 2 year qualification (*Approved qualifications can be found at http://dete.qld.gov.au/earlychildhood/service/qualifications.html)

• Current Suitability Card/ Positive Notice Letter
• First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training (ACECQA approved)
• It is a requirement of the position that the successful applicants undertake a National Crime Check (Police Check) or provide details of a Police Check that is not more than six months old.
