South Hampstead High School, the Independent Girls’ School of the Year 2022, is looking for a highly organised and experienced administrator to provide administrative and secretarial support to our Deputy Head (Careers, Community, Co-curricular) and our Director of Sixth Form.

As part of your administrative and secretarial duties, you will undertake the typing of correspondence, reports, and other documents for the Deputy Head and Director of Sixth Form. You will also be responsible for diary management, arranging meetings, and coordinating observations and meetings with teachers, parents, and students. Additionally, you will support external communications and will assist with school events such as Taster Days, Careers Fair, Mehr Licht Fair, and Activity Weeks.

You will be an excellent administrator with a pro-active approach to planning and prioritising work, demonstrating the ability to remain calm under pressure and to work independently to meet tight deadlines. You should possess substantial administrative experience in a complex organization and will be familiar with office management processes. Experience managing a database, preferably SIMS or a similar system, is desirable.

This is a part-time role working 20 – 25 hours per week, preferably Monday to Friday.
