About us

Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust (C.H.A.T.) is the Charitable Trust set up to run and manage four Primary and one Secondary Academies serving approximately 1800 children. Based in Edmonton we are focused on driving up the quality of education provision and standards.

About you

We are recruiting a highly experienced PA who will be part of the Business Support Team for the Trust, providing executive level assistance to one of the Academy’s Head Teachers as well as their Senior Leadership Team within the school.

You will have a flexible working ethic to enable you to also support the wider senior management team of the Trust which will include the CEO on occasion.

This high level support will contribute to the life chances of our children so you will need to be passionate and have good understanding about you role within the Trust.

As PA you will deliver high quality administration and secretarial support including managing a complicated diary, taking minutes, hospitality, arranging travel, gathering and organising relevant paperwork and data for the Head Teacher.

We will look to you to prioritise the day ensuring that all correspondence, documentation, queries, invitations and meetings are being dealt with efficiently and effectively. As s key point of contact you will liaise with a range of parties from parents and governors to staff and pupils. You will need to be able to plan ahead, be very well organised and efficient to ensure you keep to strict deadlines and work as part of the wider business Support Team to meet the Trust objectives.

An experienced PA or Administrator who has provided support at senior executive level and enjoys a varied workload, you will have an expert mix of senior secretarial, minute taking and administrative skills. You will know how to handle work of a confidential nature and are adept at managing a hectic diary, outstanding at meeting deadlines, more than capable of using your own initiative and proactive at getting things done.

Above all you will need to be adaptable to keep up with the unpredictable nature of the workload, where demands change constantly, requiring you to be flexible and adjust priorities - often at the last minute.
