Term Time plus 5 days. 35hrs/week 8am to 4 pm (1hour lunch)

We wish to appointment a highly skilled, efficient and enthusiastic administrator to this key position in our professional support team, where you will support the Headteacher but also play a wider school role.

You will be well organised, have strong attention to detail, excellent ICT skills, a good sense of humour and delight in working in an educational setting. If you are looking for a new challenge where you combine PA skills with hands-on involvement with pupils and are keen to work proactively in school administration we look forward to hearing from you.

Hampton High is a mixed, 11-18 comprehensive school. In 2017 Hampton High joined the Richmond West Schools Trust.  The trust operates collaboratively with a group of local schools which are working in partnership to improve outcomes for learners locally.

The successful candidate would be joining our school at an exciting time. Student numbers are growing and we are enjoying an increasingly positive reputation locally. All visitors to our school comment on the high standards of behaviour, high levels of student engagement in lessons and the warmth and pride with which students talk about their school. We would encourage a visit to the school so that you are able to see this for yourself, prior to making an application.

The PA will manage the Headteacher’s time, handle all communications, and have a clear working knowledge of the organisation and its key personnel. Maintain the Single Central Record and support the HR function including Advertising, Recruitment, Reference Checks and carry out DBS checks.

The role of a PA requires diplomacy, discretion, ability to manage a complex and demanding workload, and to remain totally confidential in dealings with various stakeholders.

We expect you to

 • have great interpersonal, team working skills • be exceptionally well organised • be completely trustworthy and discreet • have strong communication skills - face to face, by telephone and in writing • SIMS experience would be desirable.
