PA to the Deputy Head Academic and the Executive Director of Curriculum and Professional Excellence

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced PA, with first-class organisational and secretarial skills, to support the Deputy Head Academic and the Executive Director of Curriculum and Professional Excellence at Benenden School, one of the country’s leading independent schools.

The key attributes required for this role are:

• Meticulous accuracy and attention to detail;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• A high level of IT competency, including excellent database management skills and the ability to work confidently with Microsoft Office (including Excel and OneNote);
• A very high level of professionalism with excellent interpersonal skills;
• A very high level of organisation with the ability to work accurately under pressure, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a calm and efficient manner;
• Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

This is a term time plus 25 days position. A competitive salary will be paid dependent upon experience.

Benenden School is an independent boarding school for girls founded in 1923 and situated in 240 acres of beautiful parkland in rural Kent. At present, there are 555 girls in the School. A considerable amount of new building has been completed in recent years, including an all weather pitch, Sports Pavilion and staff housing.

Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
