At Great Heath Academy, we are committed to unlocking the potential of every child. To support this commitment, we are seeking a unique person to become the PA to the Executive Principal. In this role, you will be under the direction of the Executive Principal, and you will work in accordance with practices and procedures of the academy, providing an outstanding PA and secretarial support.
The successful candidate will play a key role at Great Heath Academy and be expected to effectively run administration and secretarial responsibilities as needed. You will have a vast and exciting role that is both challenging and rewarding covering a range of tasks and duties as required by the Executive Principal, senior leadership team and by the needs of the Academy.
You will be required to deal with and undertake administrative, secretarial, computing functions and will be responsibly for ensuring the academy’s Management Information System is kept up to date to comply with legal requirements and that Government returns such as the termly census is submitted accurately and on time.
You will be responsible for the academy’s website and for ensuring parents are kept informed and up to date with all events within the academy.
What’s more, you will be the first point of contact for a broad range of enquiries, whilst organising meetings of the Governors, parents and senior leaders so every day will bring different challenges.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion and a belief in the potential of every pupil. You will have the ability to follow instructions clearly yet possess sound judgement skills when needed. You will have excellent numeracy skills, administrative and organisational skills.
