PA to the Senior Leadership Team and Clerk to the Governors
We are looking for someone who has the capability and enthusiasm to provide a comprehensive and fully confidential secretarial and personal assistance service to the Senior Leadership Team, while working effectively with the Chair of Governors as clerk to the governing body. If you have the drive and enthusiasm to take on this challenging and rewarding role we would like to hear from you.
You will need:
• experience as PA/Secretary to a high profile demanding director/manager
• to possess a positive can do attitude
• flexibility to attend evening meetings as required
• excellent communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• to be a team player and show initiative
• excellent IT skills
• a good level of general education including GCSE, (grade A-C), or equivalent, in maths and English
You will be responsible for:
• producing documentation to a high standard that reflects the image of the school
• maintaining the Senior Leadership team’s diaries
• acting as first point of contact with the Senior Leadership Team, whether on the phone or receiving visitors
• working effectively with the governing body, producing minutes and agendas and advising on legislation and procedural matters
We will:
• provide full training to support on-going development in the role as Clerk to the Governors
Previous school experience and knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage.
