Job Title: PACE Assistant
Pay Scale: NJC Grade B (SCP 2-3) £18,516 - £18,887 per annum (£12,991 - £13,251 pro rata)
Hours: 31.25 hours per week x 38 weeks a year
We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual to join our team as a PACE Assistant at Ivybridge Community College.

Under the direction of the SLT (Senior Leadership Team) link (Standards and Expectations), and within an agreed system of supervision involving the College Directors and PACE Coordinator(s), the post holder is responsible for supporting the effective day to day organisation, coordination, supervision and support of students as part of the PACE strategy and the referral of, and interventions for, students in this process.
The post holder will help implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the PACE room/classroom.
The post holder will work under supervision and direction, to support the ‘In Class and Out of Class’ culture, providing general support and assistance as part of a professional team, through the support of specific behavioural, pastoral and academic intervention.
Our PACE approach is:
P – Pride and Presentation; On time to lessons, Correct uniform, Super 7, Be responsible
A – Attitude to Learning; Focus on your own work, Be safe
C – Conduct; Follow staff instructions first time
E – Effort; No opt out, Respect others and the environment
