Job overview

We are seeking a Technical Facilitator/Assessor for Body and Paint. This role will involve demonstrating modern body repair techniques; assessing and evaluating learners’ capabilities in a range of Body and Paint activities. The role involves supporting tutors during classes and organising maintenance and equipment for workshop activities.      


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualities: 

•Confident communicator with effective presentation skills

 •Excellent organisational and collaborative team-working skills •Innovative, flexible approach to mentoring, teaching and learning 

•An approachable, friendly and professional manner 

•Good IT knowledge and competence in Microsoft Office software      


Candidate will also hold or be willing to work towards: 

•Level 3 Award in Teaching, Assessment and Quality Assurance or equivalent 

•City & Guilds level 3 qualification in Education and Teaching or equivalent 

•TAQA or A1/D32 Assessors award or suitable training experience with a willingness to work towards     

Experience and qualification 

 •A recognised qualification in Body and Paint minimum Level 2 and above   

•Relevant experience as a body and paint technician in industry or in a training provider 

•Good knowledge of the body and paint industry
