Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a Painter & Decorator to play a key role within the Estates Department at Bradfield College.

Your responsibilities will include undertaking general painting and decorating work on domestic and non-domestic buildings, internal and external, across the College’s diverse estate. The College estate portfolio comprises over 30 non-domestic and 100 units of domestic accommodation, which are a mixture of new, historic and listed buildings.

You will need proven experience in painting and decoration in a variety of settings and will be driven, hard-working and motivated as well as reliable, conscientious and trustworthy.

Some experience of other types of general maintenance or building trades is desirable as is experience working in a customer facing role.

Experience of working within a maintenance or school environment would also be an advantage.

A working knowledge of Health and Safety, including safe working best practices within construction and/or maintenance is desirable but not an essential requirement.
