35hrs per week term-time only, plus 5 Inset days (8.30am - 4pm Monday - Friday)
JG6 (equivalent to £23,398 to £25,951 pro rata – actual starting salary £19,271)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible person to work proactively and in partnership with families, parents, carers and students to enable students, particularly the most disadvantaged, to have full access to educational opportunities and overcome barriers to learning. This person will also have a key role in supporting the delivery of the College's Early Help provision, acting as a Lead Professional and liaising with a range of external agencies to provide high quality support for children and families. You will be an active part of the College Student Support Team, working with staff as well to ensure students attend and meet high standards expected in College.
Applicants should have a good standard of general education including GCSE Mathematics and English A*-C or equivalent, proven experience of working with young people in a secondary school setting and competent ICT skills. Sound knowledge of safeguarding and the ability to work well within a team are also essential.
