We are a leading Forest School and are committed to outdoor learning. In addition to every child benefiting from a weekly dedicated Forest session which is exploited for cross-curricular opportunities, Forest School is also a means of providing small-group nurture support. I greatly believe that Forest School activities are a great benefit to pupils both academically and socially, helping them to grow into confident, well - rounded individuals who aspire to achieving their very best in life. I believe every child has a gift or talent, whether it is academic, sporting, artistic or vocational. In our role as educators we aim to equip pupils with the skills and confidence to achieve their best in life.

We have established ourselves as a hub for promoting learning outside. As a school we are supporting other local schools to become outdoor learners and are facilitating the training for other educational providers to become specialists in this field. Over the next year we are promoting learning everywhere, with a focus on the outdoors, learning around heritage and culture and in the local community.
