Parent Support Advisor

We are looking to appoint a Parent Support Advisor who will be responsible for working with our parents and carers to ensure our pupils have every opportunity to achieve their best. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and provide a support service to our school community.

You will be able to relate to both adults and children well, and develop a good rapport with them quickly to gain trust.

There will be a requirement to maintain accurate and effective records, and liaise with external partners in a professional manner. You will also understand the need for confidentiality in handling pupil information.

Essential for this role is recent work experience of working with young people for a minimum of 2 years. You will also be able to demonstrate delivery of group-based and individual support, and have an awareness of legislation affecting school attendance requirements.
