We are seeking an excellent Resource Base Lead, to join our team on a full-time, permanent contract.


This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Resource Base, Lead Teacher, to oversee the education provision for students with a diagnosis of ASC, attending St Dunstan's School in Glastonbury. (The base is currently located in Frome)


St Dunstan's School will have a bespoke Resource Base on its site for children and young people with ASC who have an EHCP but who are unable to fully access a mainstream education. The resource base allows students to be able to access a blended, profoundly personalised and mainstream education.


We are looking for a Base Leader who:


• Will continue to work closely with the leadership team of Critchill School and St Dunstan's School to ensure inclusive and personalized education for students in the Base

• Has the ability to develop the whole school community to deliver and achieve the highest standard of teaching and learning for those students with additional autism and communication needs

• Has an inclusive leadership style with a sense of direction, which will empower and motivate others to reach their full potential

• Has a proven ability to effectively performance manage staff within a school setting

• Is an excellent communicator with an open and approachable manner
