Godalming College in Surrey is one of the best sixth form colleges in the country with a reputation for high quality, innovative teaching and learning along with outstanding results. The college provides contemporary and stimulating surroundings in which to work and study. 

Working within the College Administration Team the post holder will be responsible for the smooth running of all admissions procedures, providing a first class experience for all applicants to the College. You will co-ordinate school liaison activity and be part of the school liaison team attending events as required.

We are looking for someone who ideally has admissions experience within an educational setting. The successful candidate must have high level communication and organisational skills as well as being proficient in a variety of IT packages. 

As Admissions Officer for the college you will provide admissions guidance at various college events throughout the academic year therefore applicants must have excellent presentation skills.

The full-time salary for the role is £24,197-£26,475. The actual salary (based on 80% full-time equivalent) is £19,543 - £21,383 and starting salary will be dependent on skills and experience.

Godalming is a historic market town situated on the River Wey and close to the beautiful countryside of the Surrey Hills. The College is within walking distance of Godalming Town Centre and the Railway station.  Godalming is readily accessed from the A3 and free car-parking is available to staff on the College campus. 

College Leadership Team & Staff

The Principal Emma Young is supported by the Senior Management Team. The college employs around 200 teaching and support staff who are committed to supporting students to achieve their goals through a broad mix of programmes and extra-curricular activities. There is a strong sense of community at the College with a lively, vibrant feel to the campus.

CPD

Godalming, along with other sixth form colleges in Surrey & Sussex belongs to a consortium known as S7 who work closely together to provide specifically tailored training and development for staff and facilitate meetings for specific groups and an annual teaching conference.
