We seek to recruit the very best support staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our outstanding School. The current post-holder is relinquishing this key role to concentrate on other demanding areas of work. Therefore, the rare opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our support team and demonstrate the ability to provide first-class support services to the Governing Body, Committees and Members of a successful Academy Trust in the strategic management and development of our School. They will provide advice to the Governing Body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters, provide effective administrative support to the Governing Body and its committees, and ensure the Governing Body is properly constituted and manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements. The post is for 3 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days (39 weeks per year) and will commence as soon as possible. The salary for this part-time post is approximately £11 - £14 per hour (£1,299 to £1,675 per annum)(full time = £18,746 to £24,174 per annum).
The successful candidate will ideally have Clerk experience, working in an administrative environment. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, sound IT knowledge and have an eye for detail. Minute-taking is a requirement as is the ability to read and digest legislative material. They will be discreet, observing confidentiality at all times. A willingness to work flexibly is required as the workload is variable and attendance at late afternoon/evening meetings is necessary.
