Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified English as an Additional Language tutor. We have a growing cohort of International students (to 85 next year) and a new boarding house (Oak House) opening in September and therefore have expanded our EAL provision creating an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified EAL teacher to join the college. The successful candidate will deliver EAL sessions to our International students as part of their college timetable, with some evening sessions based in Oak House. We also plan to develop and deliver new short English courses across the year, including in traditional school summer holidays and it is expected that the successful candidate will deliver these.

About Richard Huish College
Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures. Huish is also one of the best Sixth Form Colleges in the country, with strong outcomes and a long history of ‘adding value’ to students.
Huish has over 2,500 students studying A Levels, Level 2 and 3 vocational courses, Apprenticeships and professional qualifications (up to Level 7).
