The applicant will require a knowledge of the relevant curriculum area and an awareness of current issues taking place within Scottish education. You will deliver a high quality educational provision to all pupils and contribute, within the school ethos, to the professional life of the school.
Before confirming this appointment, you will be required to be registered with the General Teaching Council (GTCS) and obtain acceptance with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Membership through Disclosure Scotland. The salary for this post will be in accordance with SNCT agreements.

A full education programme is provided in a modern, well-equipped, secure learning centre. Following an initial wide ranging diagnostic assessment, young people will follow an Individualised Education Plan (IEP) in conjunction with Additional Support Plans which include preparation and presentation for a wide range of SQA qualifications.
