Lancashire Adult Learning are looking for talented and student focused PTHP Community Teachers specialising in French.

Main duties include:
• Teach on a range of programme delivering effective learning for students (French)
• Plan and prepare high quality teaching and learning
• Develop and share resources with the team
• Follow College procedures on RARPA for adult and community learners
• Prepare learners for accreditation where appropriate
• Complete reviews of learner progress towards achievement of individual learning goals
The ideal candidate will have:
• Level 5 qualification in relevant subject area (French)
• GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment

Nelson and Colne College, located in the town of Nelson, Lancashire, offers further education to 1,600 full-time students and 3,500 part-time adults. The college was founded during the reorganisation of education in Pendle in the early 1970s and created by the merger of several local sixth forms.
Recent investments have included a £2m engineering facility, an all-weather sports pitch and gym, fully equipped science laboratories, and student study and social spaces. In January 2017, Nelson and Colne College launched a university centre to offer a range of higher education programmes in East Lancashire and beyond.
