Days, hours and classes will be negotiated with the successful candidate according to his/her availability and expertise, but she/he should be willing to teach across the middle years age range. A background in History, Geography or Social Science would provide a good grounding for the programme.

An international outlook is essential and experience of the IB MYP humanities programme will be a distinct advantage. Dwight School London is a values driven organisation and the successful candidate will have to demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to student led, inquiry based learning and the values of the IB learner profile.

In return you will have opportunities for professional development, the support of a resourceful, experienced and dedicated leadership team, friendly and helpful colleagues, a supportive parent body and all the advantages of a vibrant, diverse and welcoming international community.

For more information and an application pack please visit the school website. In your cover letter of no more than two A4 pages outline how your skills and experience meet the job description and person specification. The deadline for applications is 8th December 2016.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to respect this commitment. The post is subject to medical questionnaire, an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
