Salcombe Preparatory School has been providing an outstanding education for over 100 years to the children in Southgate, North London. We are a well-established thriving Pre-school and Preparatory School for children from 3 to 11 years. Classes are small and the school maintains high academic standards. 

We are looking for a hard working, ambitious and dynamic Key Stage 2 teacher to join our enthusiastic team at this forward-looking, unique School for 3 days per week. This creative and innovative teacher should have the highest standards of pastoral care and is able to extend our children beyond the national curriculum as the children love to learn here. 

This position offers the chance to specialise on teaching Science to children in Years 3-6 as well as other KS2 Topics. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can inspire and challenge our pupils with a proven track record of success in raising standards and in exciting teaching.

History

Founded in 1918, Salcombe is a co-educational preparatory day school for children aged between 3 and 11. The school is situated on two neighbouring sites in Southgate, North London, and is served by excellent road and rail links.

Salcombe has a long tradition of success in preparing children for selective maintained and independent schools at 11+, as well as offering considerable opportunities for social, cultural and sporting activities.

Management
